When visiting Levy’s, you are sue to receive an authentic Israeli dining experience.  Among the various menu choices are everything from Shwarma, meat kabobs, pita, hummus, pickled vegetables, and best of all, fruit drinks imported all the way from Israel.  Although it is usually pretty busy during the dinnertime hour, and space will most assuredly be tight, once you receive your meal, you undoubtedly become so absorbed in the experience that everything else will fade away.

Ask anyone what they suggest you try from the menu, and they will tell you that the fresh hummus and eggplant are absolute musts.  Both dishes are available as super spicy and are sure to more than satisfy your need for heat.  The pitas are thick, soft, oh so fluffy and warm.  The secret is that they do not use your typical store-bought pita bread.

When it comes to their meat items, they are flavored to absolute perfection.  The ingredients are made fresh daily and seasoned deliciously.  No matter what you order, you are assured it will be filled with the most robust of flavors.  Just as with their meats, the shawarma is fresh, tasty, and seasoned perfectly.  

If you arrive finding yourself in somewhat of an adventurous mood, order yourself a Zalmy burger.  The Zalmy is so massive that it could quite possibly feed an entire family.  And don’t get us started on the pastrami—definitely deserving several bonus points.  The burger is a virtual mountain of high-quality beef with pastrami and grilled onions. It is served with a side dish of coleslaw to finish out the flavorable combination. 

And don’t forget dessert. If you are thinking that Jewish desserts are not able to compare to others in the wide varieties available, you are going to be pleasantly surprised.  The ever-popular Babka will be more than worth your time and indulgence.
